Late Winter Vibes & Dreaming of Swedish Summers

These late winter days are kind of tricky. The first sun rays break through, teasing warmer days ahead. Temperatures rise to a mild 15°C, birds start to sing again, and there's that familiar, almost intoxicating, hint of spring in the air. But then, winter reminds us it’s not gone yet. A sudden cold front, a biting wind—it’s like a slap in the face. A reminder: it’s still February. And we all know, March does what March wants.

Yet, beneath the lingering frost, something stirs. Like a bloom pressing up through frozen ground, I feel the energy of change, of something new emerging. A new season, a new decade, a new chapter. My 30th birthday is just around the corner, and with it comes a mix of excitement and uncertainty. There’s something powerful about stepping into a fresh decade—equal parts scary and exhilarating.

But what truly lifts my spirits right now is reminiscing about last summer. Long summer days in Sweden, where the sun barely sets, where time feels endless. Days spent outside, picking sun-warmed strawberries straight from the fields, gathering around a bonfire by the lake, laughing, sharing stories, and soaking in the golden light of Nordic summer nights.

Looking back at these moments reminds me that everything—the warmth, the freedom, the adventure—is still ahead of us. There’s so much waiting to be experienced, so many waves yet to be ridden.

So today, I want to share some of my favorite summer moments—those little snapshots of pure happiness that remind me that, no matter how long winter lingers, the sun always comes back. And when it does, we’ll be ready.

What summer moment are you dreaming of right now?

Waves of love, always.
