Spring days in norway

Norway Trip Recap

This trip was a little different — it was actually a business trip! But even between meetings and work, I made sure to soak in the small, beautiful moments.

Instead of staying in a hotel, we decided to rent a big house right by the water — and honestly, it made all the difference. Slow mornings with a fjord view, evenings with wine dates while the sun set behind the mountains… it gave the whole trip such a cozy, peaceful vibe.

The fresh, chilly air combined with the constant sunshine felt incredibly vibrant and energizing. Every day started slow and soft — coffee in hand, wrapped in a sweater, gazing over the calm waters. And even though work kept us busy, we carved out time for some sightseeing too, which was just perfect.

Leaving Ålesund without truly taking it all in simply wouldn’t have made any sense. This town, with its colorful Art Nouveau buildings and sparkling harbor, completely captured my heart.

Of course, I had to bring a little piece of Norway home with me — I found the most beautiful Norwegian wool sweater (and haven’t taken it off since!). And café moments made everything even sweeter: think iced matcha lattes, cozy interiors, and a whole lot of laughter.

Also, can we talk about cinnamon bites? Warm, sweet little pockets of happiness that were the perfect snack for long walks along the water.

This trip was everything — work and life beautifully balanced, wrapped in fresh air, cozy sweaters, soft sunlight, and the magic of the Norwegian coast.

This is my full Norway trip recap — I hope it brings you a little spark of wanderlust too.

Waves of love, always.
