Ever since I visited Trucy’s in Hamburg, something shifted in the way I make my breakfast. One small twist completely elevated the game: cream cheese under the avocado. Total game changer.

Now my mornings start with fresh bread — pan-toasted until it’s golden and crisp. I spread a generous layer of cream cheese while it’s still warm, let perfectly ripe avocado melt into it, and top it all with a sunny-side-up egg. Then come the finishing touches: flaky salt, pepper, maybe chili flakes if I’m feeling bold, and always fresh herbs. The crunch of the bread and the creaminess of everything on top? Pure harmony.
