Lotta x Hej Greta – A Special Community Event in Hamburg
I feel truly blessed to have been invited to this beautiful event hosted by my dear @lottastichler in collaboration with one of my absolute favorite brands, @hejgreta. What a weekend!
We drove to Hamburg on Friday and little did I know the city was in full celebration mode – "Hafengeburtstag" was happening, and on top of that, a major football match had brought even more people into town. Needless to say, traffic was wild! I'm so happy we decided to arrive a day early and stay the night. After a longer-than-usual drive, we ordered pizza from one of our favorite spots and spent a cozy evening together – my boyfriend, our sweet dog, and me.
Saturday was the highlight:
The Lotta x Hej Greta event. A community painting workshop filled with warmth, creativity, and such lovely souls. We painted ceramics – bowls, mugs, and whatever our hearts desired. I chose to paint a sweet little seashell bowl to store my favorite coastal-inspired Hej Greta jewelry (yes, forever into that shoreline vibe). For my second piece, I painted another bowl and carefully wrote North Shore on it with a tiny bottle applicator, adding little seashells to round it off. I’m so happy with how both turned out.
But even more special than the ceramics was the atmosphere. The girls who joined were all so warm and kind – we instantly clicked and spent the day laughing, painting, and just vibing together. It was such a joy to be part of this creative circle, and I’m still carrying the energy from that day with me.
And Lotta... what can I say? I've been following her on YouTube for over three years, and meeting her in real life was honestly a dream. She is exactly as you’d imagine – gentle, inspiring, and full of light. It felt like reconnecting with a dear friend, even though it was our first time meeting. I hope our paths cross again sometime soon.
