Welcome to my North Shore Diary – my personal space where I romanticize life in a quaint coastal town, celebrating my East Frisian heritage with pride. I’m excited to share more of this journey with you all.

But what does this space truly represent? It’s a reflection of my life, my dreams, and the creative energy that has shaped me over the years. Growing up by the North Sea, I always had a deep connection to the water, the coastal beauty, and the simplicity of life in a small town. The idea of creating a place where I could share these passions and inspirations has always been close to my heart.

Let me take you back for a moment. My name is Ines, and I’ve been passionate about creativity and design since I was eight years old. It all started when my grandmother taught me how to sew, and that was just the beginning of a lifelong journey to build something special. Over the years, this passion grew, and I started dreaming about creating my own brand, my own story. But, like many of us, life didn’t unfold as I imagined.

Though I could have packed up and moved to Paris to chase my dreams, I found myself staying in a small town, with parents who had their own advice. They wanted the best for me, but their perspective was different. So, instead of immediately jumping into the unknown, I chose to start with an apprenticeship to build a solid foundation for my future. Looking back, it was a wise decision – but my dreams were always calling me.

After completing my apprenticeship and working in sales, I took a big step and moved to Hamburg to pursue a career in design. I enrolled in a textile design program and learned about color theory, media design, and creative processes. It was everything I had hoped for, yet not without challenges. I found myself hustling non-stop, and in the process, I lost touch with who I truly was. I missed my family, my boyfriend, and the peacefulness of home.

Eventually, I realized that happiness wasn’t about being somewhere else – it was about finding peace where I was. After that, I moved back to my hometown, where I found my sense of balance and fulfillment. I took a marketing job and slowly started working on my true passion again, and now, I’m here with my North Shore Diary, sharing everything I’ve learned and everything I continue to create.

This space is for you – for all the dreamers, creators, and small-town souls who long to embrace their passions and find happiness in the little moments. It’s about learning to appreciate where you are, no matter the location, and creating a life that feels right for you. I believe that no matter where we live – be it a small town, a big city, an warm or cold environment, or somewhere in between – we have the power to create a life that reflects our dreams and our values.

I’m excited to take you along on this journey. I have so many plans for the future, and I can’t wait to share them with you. Whether it’s through creativity, design, or embracing the simple pleasures of life, this is the space where we can dream, create, and live authentically.
